Simple question.. what things do you like about where you train and what don't you like. Things like price equipment is it old new working good etc.. jsut general gripes or things that you like..

OK you people are telling me you have no gripes about your training centers or compliments... that means everyone is just getting average training from average instructors in average facilities... This can not be the case...

err... advance martial arts in brisbane is excelent
unlimated classes for $110 a month
great instructors awesome atmospere woo!

I would say that my only complaint about the gym I train at in SF is that all of the training partners my size are strictly boxers, so they are really easy to takedown and pound in sparring. I end up sparring with some of my buddies who are anywhere between 6' and 6'4" and 185 and 205 lbs. I don't have much to complain about training with the big guys though, it's so much better for my strength training than just smashing boxers.

ok ok ill gripe.

What i like is that we have a full size ring that we do most of the workout in then we exit the ring and 2 people at time "roll" or in other words spar in the ring and we have the buzzer and shit so when that goes off they leave and 2 new people enter.

I also like how "rolling" is a specific part of the class so its like we have a mini UFC every class.

What i dis like is that we dont do much strenth training tyope of stuff, its also a full gym but we can use that stuff whenever we want its not actually built into our class time so i do most of my worjking out in my home gym and go to class for the technical stuff, but it would be nice if they made up do curls and pushups and pullups etc etc as part of our everyday workout.

I really like my BJJ school

I get to train with bigger guys, do a lot of cardio, we fight a lot, and the instructor is a very humble and nice guy...

what I dont like is that we dont practice enough GnP...and I dont have partners to do stand up...

I love to train in my wing chun school....I have a great instructor...well great instructors cause my sifu son is also an instructor and my fav training partner and the instruction is amazing....

what I dont like is that its far from where I live now and gas is very pricy...so I get to train once a week or once every 2 weeks....when I was living close what I disliked was that most of the time I was helping with the class due to new guys....
