Just wanted to say those were some amazing fights to get into the house. Forrest Griffin Stephan Bonnar type fights for the most part. 3 guys that lost definately deserve to be in the house. Cant wait to see next week!

yeh the was some good fights there. That dude with the Afro had some crazy kicks that knocked that skinny lttle jew on his ass.

Is Liddell deffo fighting Ortiz at the end of this?? as i heard that liddell might fight Franklin instead. Liddell should have retired after his Evans loss as he's ruining his "legend" reputation.I think that Ortiz is in better shape and could win as Liddell just looks slow and old

How do you ruin your reputation as being a legend? You can't really do that..

Everyone knows Chuck is over the hill now but no ones gonna look back and say, "man that guy sucks now because he lost his last fights when he was 40"

Afro has some crazy kicks, but If he fought some of the other cats in the house I dont think it would have been that easy for him.

I agree that Lidell is kinda washed up, cant take a punch. But you know Tito is going to try and take him down to do the GNP. Chuck will still be able to counter the take down, so I think Chuck still has a chance. Plus Chuck is in Titos head from the previous losses.

I havent heard about Franklin though.

No- no one here on an MMA board saw the new TUF.
Well, your missing out.....:sarcastic12:

There were some pretty crazy finishes in the fights in the first episode. I'm not sure if these are "official" bouts or bouts just to make the show or advance, or what.

The point is, I'm not following the show very carefully, and have no interest in doing so in the future. The format is stale, and the prospect of sitting down to watch a dozen guys living together is not very appealing.

he's ruining his REP by getting stupid losses on his record. Liddell in his prime would have steam rolled cocky Evans and knocked out Jardine. He would also have probably beat Shogun but he lost all these because he doesnt want to retire. On the other hand if he had of beat Shogun he would have got a shot at Machida and maybe been Champion again at 40 years old. He has always been my fave fighter but he should have retired after his defeat to Rampage.

Agreed. Just like NFL players who still think they have gas in the tank. I bet you anything, win or lose Chuck retires after this fight. ESPECIALLY if he loses to Tito. Thats the nail in the coffin for sure. I cant stand Machida. Shogun kicked the crap out of him and still lost the decision. Almost made me stop watching UFC.

Its a fact that guys 38 and older just dont have the same chin they did in their prime. Ala Randy Couture, Chuck Lidell, and others. Heart is still in it, body is not.
