What a day for an mma fan Tim hague has another chance hell yeah his striking was awesome against chris tucherer in his last fight. So happy theve given him another chance joe rogan called this match the worst decision hes ever seen! http://www.mmamania.com/2010/4/22/1436535/ufc-113-tim-hague-replaces-chad

Former King of the Cage (KOTC) heavyweight menace Tim Hague is getting a second lease on his UFC career at the expense of Chad Corvin, who was forced to bow out of the upcoming UFC 113 fight card after failing to obtain medical clearance to compete.

"The Thrashing Machine" has taken his place opposite Joey Beltran for the "Machida vs. Shogun II" event on May 8 in Montreal, according to Sportsnet.ca.

In addition to his destruction of Houston Alexander earlier this year, Beltran embarrassed Octagon newcomer Rolles Gracie at last February's UFC 109: "Relentless" event in Las Vegas.

"The Mexicutioner" has won seven of his last eight, with a decision loss to Tony Lopez at KOTC: "Distorted" being the lone defeat during the nearly 15-month span.

He'll look to keep that momentum going against Hague, who re-joins the Zuffa roster after an untimely release a few months back.

The Canadian burst onto the scene at UFC 98 with a quick submission win over Pat Barry, who didn't get much "Hype" following the loss. Hague went for two straight when he met Todd Duffee later that year, but ended up on the wrong end of a record-setting, seven-second knockout.

The straw that broke the contract's back was an ugly majority decision defeat to up-and-comer Chris Tuchsherer at UFC 109 and while it was his second straight, it wasn't exactly a clear-cut loss.

Now Hague has the opportunity to prove he still belongs among the ranks of the world's largest fight promotion.

UFC 113 will be headlined by a rematch between Lyoto Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. The card's co-main event is set to feature an exciting welterweight match up between perennial top contender, Josh Koscheck, and the explosive Paul Daley.

Kimbo Slice will also make his pay-per-view (PPV) debut against fellow TUF 10 cast member, Matt Mitrione.
