Obviously it's going to be a freak show since James Tony is not in his prime, the only way these fights are going to work if its actually a legitimate opponent from boxing.

Example
Wladimir Klitschko vs Frank Mir
Shane Mosley vs GSP

Personally I like the interview that was put up here a while ago from rogan. Toney will mot likely dance circles around people striking. He will get worked though if it goes to the ground. Like most boxers would.

james toney better be training man, he will get kiled if hes fat and outta shape, this isnt the boxing game, this is THE FIGHTING GAME.
Ya cuz Big Country is the epitome what "fit looks like." You can be fat and still be in shape. If a fighter goes 12 rounds, they are in shape enough to go 3 5 minute rounds. Look at Kimbos last 3 5 minute round standup fight against Houston Alexander. They were completely gassed. When fighters in MMA grapple for 5 minutes on the ground, that can be pretty tiring. WHen you box and you get pulled away immediately on a clinch, you are always moving and always having to strike for 12 3 minute rounds. that is really hard to do. That is why most pro's start with 4 round fights then graduate to 6, then 8, 10 and finally 12.

IMO only the 25 minute fights (5 x 5 minute rounds) is comparable to 12 x 3 minute rounds in boxing (36 minutes) because i think it's harder to go that extra 2 minutes 5 times. There are 11 more minutes of fighting in boxing but fighters have 7 LESS minutes of rest time...so it's pretty comparable and differences in conditioning are minimal.
