What fight you most looking forward to this weekend?

Definitely Hardy vs GSP for me. Been looking forward to this fight for ages. Would love to see Dan bring the title back to the UK, would be great for the sport here, and would be entertaining to read the reactions of the haters. War Hardy!
Pretty sick card all-round though. Carwin-Mir's going to be a war, Fitch-Alves could determine who gets the next shot, Saunders-Ellenberger's a good battle between up and comers in the division and Miller-Bocek should be entertaining too. Probably the best Spike Prelim card I've seen too, Diaz-Markham will be a very good fight.

I just rewatched every Matt Brown fight and it was AWESOME. Can't wait to see him vs Almeida, has the potential to be a war. Man, he was so robbed vs the stun gun :thumbsdown:
Yeah its a great card. Would be stunned if Hardy beat GSP though, guys GSPs already dominated would beat Hardy, but anything can happen i suppose

I'm most looking forward to Mir v Carwin, I really want Carwin to go on and face Brock so hoping he wins. Also looking forward to a GSP clinic.

Yeah, the most likely outcome is a GSP victory, but it's a fight, anything can happen. Dan Hardy has the tools to beat GSP I believe, he just needs a bit of luck and things to go his way on the night. I wouldn't bet money on a Hardy win, but I wouldn't be completely surprised to see Dan pull off the victory. I'll certainly be cheering him on anyway.

Cool thread. I think it's a difficult choice for me to make. I love seeing GSP perform, however I think the outcome of his fight is more expected, whereas Carwin/Mir will give us all a huge idea what sort of changes we can expect in the HW division this year. I'm gonna go with Carwin Mir just because I expect GSP/Hardy to end with GSP the winner. I realize it may not, but I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation. Whereas Carwin/Mir has more uncertainty.
Yeah thats what i feel too, and why im really looking forward to Fitch Alves. It's always great to see GSP perform, a true ATG in his prime

Mir Carwin has all the drama. for me anyway. Has mir learned to deal with monster wrestlers? Is carwin a monster wrestler? Will Brock ever fight anyone but Mir?
Fitch Alves is a good fight maybe a great one but irrelevant to me because neither will ever beat gsp.

I really want to say Miller vs Bocek, because I think it will be a LW barnburner, BUT
I'd have to say Mir vs Carwin. How could you not?!?! On one hand Mir seems to have all of the confidence in the world (tooling kongo immediately and brutally), but on the other hand, Carwin has found a way to KO/TKO everyone he has faced. (His longest fight being his debut, 2:11, everything else, UNDER 2 MINUTES!

I agree this card is stacked for the UFC compared to what happened with all the injuries as of late.
I am looking foward to Mir vs Carwin. As a huge Mir fan I hope he wins but I would like the fight to at least go to the secong round.
I think both Mir and Carwin have a lot of questions that need to be answered.
