ok so you said bjj is the best so what is the second best is what I was asking and is catch wrestling the same as folk wrestling? and ***** is russian not easternThis question can't be answered because you've disqualified the correct answer. BJJ is the best ground art.
If you won't learn BJJ I guess folk wrestling if you consider that a ground art. But regardless you have asked a question and then refused to hear the correct answer.
Also the purely western art makes no sense if you wanted to learn *****....
The second best would be Judo.ok so you said bjj is the best so what is the second best is what I was asking and is catch wrestling the same as folk wrestling? and ***** is russian not eastern
Ok I am learning high school wrestling and so catch is what I will learn in addition and yes Bjj is judo with emphases on the ground while ***** is a completely different system so Bjj is more eastern than ***** thanks for your answerThe second best would be Judo.
No folk wrestling is like college/high school wrestling you see on tv sometimes. If you need/want to learn submissions Catch wrestling would be an okay option, some decent things in there. But Catch wrestling has no real emphasis on controlling someone on the ground. At least no where near to the level of bjj judo or wrestling.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is from Brazil, all the old Judokas may say it's just Judo but there's a reason none of them have ever beaten a bjj black belt. I don't know how Brazil is more eastern than Russia but okay.
