the competiton is out in pride for the heavy weights in the ufc, if they went there they'd get killed, the only one i could see doing good is arlovskii and silva, maybe.

The state of HWs in UFC reminds me of boxing, there just aren't a lot of good American HWs out there right now. Maybe all the big guys here are going into big money sports like football or basketball rather than fighting sports like boxing or MMA.

Now there are a lot of talented HWs in the rest of of the world, of course most of those guys are going to fight in Pride.

not sure about that,... when ur a heavy weight they cant do alot of the things that we see these lighter guys doing. i mean they run out of breath faster, not as agile, and kind of move slow... but that dosent mean there bad fighters, it just means there big/fat ...and since its HW, there alowed to be like that. well because of that the fights may not look as interesting or a great fight, but for the fighters its a whole different ball game of tactics.



oh, and if ur looking for a good HW fighter.....

One Person.... BRANDON VERA. He should handle Frank Mir very well and then I feel he will get his title shot. A lot of people are overlooking him but he is definitely making a name for himself. I can't wait to see him fight again at UFC 65

All you have to do is be tall, and you can very easily be fast, and not fat and agile.
