Which fighter would you pick to be your corner man if you had a title shot??? Based on TUF 2 weeks ago, I'm definatly going with Matt Serra. Mostly because he has a way of getting people to respond to him. Alot of times you can hear the corner guy screaming "Do this!" "Do That!" and you don't see the fighter doing it. He can also scream really loud so ya wouldn't have a problem hearing him. And he's very very knowledgeable on MMA so he's definatly my pic. If not Matt, then Randy Coture because he's so wise and he wears his heart on his sleeve with his fighters.

The TUF series is a bad example...in a real fight there are more then twenty people in one little room. The corners in a real fight a shouting as loud or louder then Matt Serra, I'm sure. But whoever you pick its best to train with them...its easier to pick out their voice that way.

But I would say ... I cant answer this. Because it would really depend on whom Im fighting, what style they use. And I would like someone that allready beat that person, if possible.

before one of my fights I ALMOST had Renzo Gracie convinced to corner me lol after all I did train for Gracie Jiu Jitsu in New Haven Connecticut, and we had a seminar/mini training sesson with him, that would have been amazing. I would have to go with one of the Gracies since I train their exact fighting style

no where does it say a UFC fighter.

so with that said i would use my trainers now, any one of them has a lot of knowledge and are good teachers very helpful and tough.

I would say either Mike, Eric, Doug, Jessie, Chris.

These are allr eal people i know, sorry not UFC fighters.

Ya I'd go with one of Stevie-d's trainer's too, maybe Chris I here he's fantastic!

...But if we had to pick from the UFC, I love the way Serra is helping out on TUF. It Almost feels like an unfair advantage the way he screams out advice

if i could have a corner of 3 it (2 or 3 is usual corner size) would be.

Tito Ortiz
Randy Couture
Sean Sherk

If i trained with all 3 of these guys and still had problems wrestling guys and takedowns i should just stop and go get a job at subway or something.

that doesnt make sense, there is always someone better and it depends on the circumstance, Randy gets taken down, so does tito, so should they go work for subway now?

Randy schooled Tito like nothing. Chuck took Tito down, too. A few other people have done it as well. But by far ..... none like Randy :D

Chuck Liddell (for strikes)
Well he cant teach you what he does. His style is his own. He throws wild looping punches, and hardley has his hands up. He lands powershots, but as far as you or anyone being able to mimic that style...is like asking Phil Baroni to teach you how to punch fast. :)

I would want el guapo. He is very good at spotting sub attempts and seeing options for you as well. very good corner man. Plus he is hilarious and could help you disect a fighter like no other and put together a amazing fight plan.
