Just watched his fight with Linhares and he looked great! He's obviously been working on his striking since the Sonnen fight. I think a fight with Bisping would be pretty interesting, but the UFC has never seemed too interested in giving Okami much exposure. I'm not sure that they would want to give him a high profile opponent like Bisping. Sakara is another option. Maybe if Okami beats him like he beat Linhares the UFC will put him on the main card.

There's no reason for him not to be on the main card in the first place. He has losses to number one contender Chael Sonnen and former champ Rich Franklin. Decision losses at that. The guy is one of the best middleweights in the world and should be treated as such.

As a huge fan of Okami I was totally shocked after Sonnen beat him the way he did but it did seem to make him realize he needed to change his training and it paid off against Linhares. He is tremendously talented and I can only hope the UFC finally lets him back on a main card after this. I've long wanted to see him versus Marquardt(or another top contender) and it would be great for both guys(minus Okami's recent win) coming off a loss to Sonnen to battle it out to move up. That would be a great fight to see.

Either way give Okami a shot on the main card against anyone and I'd be down to see it.

Okami is one of the most under-rated fighters in the whole of the UFC. I agree with the above poster who said give him Marquardt; that would be a very interesting match-up and a very solid addition to a main card.

The winner (i have a feeling Okami would take it, though could see it going both ways) would launch themselves straight back into title contention.
